
Marcia's work as a director and choreographer has been seen throughout the United States, in Canada, Great Britain and South Korea.
On Broadway she served as Associate Choreographer of HIGH SOCIETY at the St. James Theatre.

For the Cape Playhouse she directed CRIMES OF THE HEART starring Sandy Duncan, ACCOMPLICE with Stephanie Zimbalist & Richard Kind and ANGEL STREET starring David McCallum.

As resident director of the Phoenix Theatre Co. at SUNY Purchase she directed Ken Ludwig's SULLIVAN & GILBERT starring George Grizzard, HIGH SPIRITS, THE CRUCIFER OF BLOOD and THERE'S ONE IN EVERY MARRIAGE.
Marcia's Goodspeed Opera House production of ON THE TOWN won critical raves and her 1991 Virginia Stage production of AIN'T MISBEHAVIN' played several regional theatres, receiving two Barrymore Award nominations in Philadelphia. The Pittsburgh Public Theatre and the Huntington Theatre Company in Boston both produced Marcia's version in 2005 and 2004 respectively.
She has had exciting collaborations with Rupert Holmes, Stephen Sondheim, Robert Falls, Des McAnuff, Richard Adler & Bill C. Davis, Douglas C. Wager, Gregory Boyd, Michael Cristofer and Joanne Woodward.
For Television, she choreographed SESAME STREET (Emmy Award-winning episode "The Tango Festival") and REMEMBER WENN for AMC. On video, Marcia's choreography is featured in Elmo's World- Wild Wild West starring Bill Irwin, Michael Jeter & Kristin Chenoweth (Sony Wonder.)
Her first play, the Edgar Award nominated SHERLOCK HOLMES & THE WEST END HORROR, co-written with her husband Anthony Dodge, had it's world premiere production at Bay Street Theatre in 2002 under her direction. It also played to sold-out houses at the Asolo Theatre Company in Sarasota, FL. and The Pioneer Theatre in Salt Lake City, Utah. Dodge & Dodge are currently writing the libretto for HATS! THE RED HAT SOCIETY MUSICAL and LOOK HOMEWARD HONKY TONK ANGEL with Country Music legend Larry Gatlin. They've also written a "femme noir" mystery called VENUS FLYTRAP.
Devoted to the training of young performers, Marcia is a frequent guest director and instructor at New York universities and conservatories including Fordham College, University at Buffalo, New York University's CAP21 and Marymount Manhattan College. Marcia is currently on the faculty of The American Musical & Dramatic Academy (AMDA).
In 2005, Marcia celebrated 25 happy years of marriage with her husband, Tony. Their daughter Natasha is their greatest joy.
